TumkurConnect is a local business directory acting as an 'Intermediary' under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We are not primarily responsible for user/business-generated content, but we will take appropriate action upon receiving complaints about unlawful content.
Users agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You must not post or distribute spam, false information, fraudulent content, harmful code, or any material that violates others' rights. Use of the platform for illegal activities under Indian law is strictly prohibited.
You warrant that all information, photos, and contact details submitted during free listing are accurate and lawful. You are solely responsible for any misrepresentation.
We reserve the right to review, edit, or permanently remove listings that violate our community guidelines, infringe copyright, or appear unlawful.
Reviews must be based on genuine experiences. Hate speech, obscenity, fake negative reviews against competitors, or self-promotional reviews are strictly prohibited. Such content may lead to account suspension and other strict actions. Fake reviews may also attract penalties under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
The name TumkurConnect, logo, domain name, design, source code, and all original content on the platform are our intellectual property and are protected under Indian copyright law. Reproduction, copying, or use without prior written permission is prohibited.
By posting content (reviews, photos), users grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform.
We act solely as a bridge between consumers and businesses. The platform and its content are provided 'As-Is'. We give no express or implied warranty regarding the quality, accuracy, or availability of products/services offered by listed businesses. We are not a party to any transaction between businesses and consumers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TumkurConnect and its owners/employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including data loss, profit loss, business interruption). For paid services, liability is limited to the amount paid by you, if any. For free services, we bear no liability.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TumkurConnect and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account or access for violation of these terms, illegal activity, or any reason (with or without notice). Provisions intended to survive termination (disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnification) shall continue to apply.
Our site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, services, or privacy policies. Accessing them is at your own risk.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Karnataka, specifically Tumkur district. Both parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through amicable negotiation. If unresolved, it shall be settled through arbitration in accordance with Indian law.
